Several casualties in a shooting near Jerusalem`s holy site

Three Palestinians set fire near Jerusalem’s holiest site on Friday, wounding three Israelis, two of them critically, before the two passed away, an Israeli local source said.

Army Radio said the shooting took place near the sacred site known to Muslims as Noble Sanctuary and to Jews as Temple Mount.

The same source said that the three Palestinians were killed by security forces.

The Israeli ambulance service Magen David Adom said the two Israelis wounded were receiving life-saving treatment, while Palestinians consider these actions a way to resist the Israeli occupation.
