Assassination of a Security Director in Saudi-Held Hadramawt Governorate

The security director of the district of “Radhom” based in Shabwa governorate, Nasser Awad Sulaimani, was shot dead Saturday by unidentified gunmen in the district of of Ghail Bawazeer, Hadramawt governorate.

According to local sources close to YemenExtra, gunmen riding in a car opened fire on Sulaimani while he was in a market , which led to his death immediately.

The sources explained that the perpetrators of the assassination are believed to belong to the Takfiri group “Al-Qaeda”, which takes the district of Gail Bawazir a stronghold.

The southern governorates of Yemen continue to live a state of security chaos under the occupation of the forces of the Saudi-led coalition; assassinations, armed robbers and attacks waged by Takfiri groups are on an ongoing basis.
