Yemeni Parliament Launches Initiative to End War in Yemen

The Yemeni Parliament began its meetings on Saturday for the first period of the second session of the 12th annual session under the chairmanship of President Yahia Ali Al-Raya to launch and adopt a national political initiative to resolve the crisis in the country.
The Parliament pointed out that the initiative comes from the national responsibility towards the Yemeni people in all political spectrum, representing all Yemenis at home and abroad.
The parliament called on all parties to put the supreme interest of the nation above all interests and small projects and accept the other to end the sufferings of Yemenis from the scourge of devastating war, suffocating siege and deadly epidemics.
The Council had started its session by reviewing the record of the last session of the last period and will continue its work on Sunday morning, Allah willing.
