A child was killed and five others injured on Tuesday after a Saudi raid targeted displaced people in al-Qadihah district based in Mocha district, western Taiz governorate, central Yemen.
Yemeni Arabic-speaking Almasiah channel reported that the airstrike deliberately hit a civilian’s car carrying a displaced family, killing one woman and wounding five others, most of them women.
The wounded were then immediately taken to a hospital in the city of Hodeidah, western Yemen.
A medical source in Hodeidah later reported a new toll for the victims of the new war crime perpetrated by the Saudi regime and its allies, confirming the death of a girl and the injury of another 12, including 4 in a critical condition.
It is not the first time the coalition strikes displaced persons, whether it is in Taiz or in other governorates.
On July 3, 15 civilians, all women and children, were killed by an air strike on the house of a citizen located in Yakhtal district, Mocha district, western Taiz.
Thousands of Yemenis had fallen dead in the ongoing US-backed Saudi war, while others are on the brink of famine or in danger of being infected with the recent cholera epidemic, adding to the agony of the country.
