The Saudi authorities claimed that it is the effort made by King Salman which led to what they called as the “cancellation of the restrictions” made by the Israeli forces on the worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Saudi authorities disregarded the Palestinians’ victimization and confrontation of the Israeli forces , saying that the King’s contacts with the US officials were behind removing the Israeli restrictions at the holy shrine, read a statement .

The importance of the “peace process and achieving a two-state solution was highlighted ”, added the statemet.
