Hashd Al-Sha’abi Join together to Free Final “Daesh” Fort in NW Iraq :Iraqi Army Says

The Popular Mobilization Units (Hashd Al-Sha’abi)  will associate forces with the Iraqi Army to Free the “Daesh”, backed by Saudi Arabia,  final fort in northwest Iraq, Iraqi Prime Minister reported on Saturday.

The Popular Mobilization Units have already freed a big amount of territory around Tal ‘Afar, but they are now joining the Iraqi Army forces that were circulated in Mosul City.

Tal ‘Afar has been occupied by the “Daesh”, backed by Saudi Arabia, since the Summer of 2014; its proximity to the Syrian border and provincial capital of the Nineveh Governorate makes it a top priority for the Iraqi Army’s High Command.

The date for this coming operation has not been declared, but it will probably begin some time in August.
