Syrian security forces to undertake nationwide task to dismantle explosives

Security forces of the Syrian Ministry of Interior have concluded a training course dedicated to dismantling bombs and IEDs with the aim to undertake a nationwide mission to clear the mines in various Syrian cities.

The Ministry of Interior provided a chosen number of its personnel from Damascus, Homs, Suwyda and Qunietra with intensive training course using some of the most state-of-the-art devices on detecting explosives.

According to informed sources, those trained forces will be deployed to a number of cities across the war-torn country in order to dismantle all mines and IEDs.

The sources added that this mission is supposed to start once both the Syrian Army troops and rebel fighters completely conclude the ceasefire agreement, allowing those sappers to clear out the explosives.
