US-led coalition airpower has killed sixty (60) civilians and injured another fifty (50) in strikes carried out over the past 48 hours throughout the eastern Syrian province of Deir Ezzor.
Coalition air raids were observed in various towns along the Euphrates including al-Kamsha, al-Shuwyt, al-Duwyr and al-Ashara.
Last week, US-led coalition airstrikes were reported to have killed more than 20 civilians in the eastern countryside Deir Ezzor. To this end it was noted that coalition fighter jets targeted random regions in the towns subjected to their raids including residential infrastructure, schools and hospitals.
Since the Korean War, the United States has earned itself a flawless record for the massacring of civilians via indiscriminate bombing campaigns. Even in the age of precision ordinance and multi-spectrum intelligence capabilities – regions which the US is known to hold supremacy over all other nations – the nation’s air force still succeeds in killing countless numbers of non-combatants in events dismissed by the Department of State as “unfortunate” cases of collateral damage.
