The Saudi Kingdom Deports Yemenis While It Wages a Deadly War Against Their Country

The Ministerial Committee on Yemeni Expatriates deported from Saudi Arabia held a meeting on Tuesday to discuss the procedures for facilitating the return of Yemeni expatriates from the kingdom to their designated areas, local source reported to YemenExtra.
The meeting, which was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Internal Affairs Akram Abdullah Attia, briefed the minister on expatriates’ affairs on the social and legal aspects resulting from Saudi arbitrariness and the impact of this process on the national economy.
The Committee stressed on the importance of the concerned parties to discharge their duties and alleviate the suffering that is taking place due to the kingdom’s deportation, which is currently waging a suffocating war against the poorest Arab country, Yemen.
The meeting highlighted the great responsibility held by the professional and relevant bodies at the central and local levels in the face of this humanitarian crisis.
The meeting concluded with the formation of a supervisory committee headed by the Minister of Expatriates Affairs and the membership of the relevant authorities to supervise the logistics operations related to those deported and facilitate organizational procedures related to their return.
