On March 25, 2015, the Western Arab Alliance, led by Riyadh, launched an aggressive offensive on Yemen. The alliance was officially joined by Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Sudan and Senegal.

This aggression began with hysterical strikes on Yemen;  however, Saudi Arabia knew that the occupation of Yemen could not be done  except by capturing the ground, and the occupation of the land needed land troops . Thus, it asked some Arab countries that have ground troops to parttake in the coalition against Yemen, including Egypt and Sudan.

The Sudanese government ,however, rejected to interfere in Yemen over the historical background. They had prior knowledge of the abilities of the Yemeni fighters, but the Sudanese government for several reasons had to meet Riyadh’s demands in the aggression against Yemen, including providing it withYemeni fighters .

But in fact today the Sudanese army is considered the first loser in Yemen from two sides:

The first: the failure to perform the Gulf-US promises received by al-Bashir before the start of military operations.

Second: the human losses received by Al-Bashir in Yemen, which led to his indignation against the Sudanese people.

Bashir has sought to build his government at the expense of the Yemeni people, and sent fighters from Sudan to Yemen on the flimsy promises of Washington by Riyadh, but these promises are still dependent on other promises and can never be implemented, where the Sudanese regime in Khartoum is counting on the Gulf now more than the economic crisis is about to hit, the bailout system after the economic and political problems have accumulated. It needs an economic backlash through improving the Sudanese-Gulf relations. The Gulf countries have the funds available from funds of oil next to the presence of Arab funds that possess stocks of what position to support Sudan.

The sending of fighters from Sudan to Yemen, led to great warnings in the political and military circles in Yemen, where the head of the Yemeni Supreme Revolutionary Committee Mohammad Ali al-Houthi vowed Sudanese forces, which bears the name of ‘rapid support’ and heading to participate in the US-Saudi aggression on Yemen genocide.

“Bashir’s gang sends recruits for the Holocaust in Yemen again, and the Yemeni people manage , God willing, to confront them and exterminate them,” he told in a statement on Twitter.

Al-Houthi said that the Janjaweed leaders rejected to keep their children in the fighting in Yemen a positive attitude. He called on the Sudanese to offer advice to those recruits to retreat, recalling the images of Saudi-paid Sudanese troops killed in Yemen, which were circulated several weeks ago.

The chief of the Revolutionary Guards ridiculed the directives of the head of the 16th Division of the Sudanese Recruits, warning them that they will be like their predecessors, who had been killed quickly or fled.

In the past, there have been sharp disagreements in the Sudanese government between the Interior Minister, First Lieutenant Esmat Abdel Rahman, and the army leadership on the one hand and Omar al-Bashir’s rapid support troops on the other hand, Zine El Abidine resigned from office.

At the end…

The Sudanese President and the commanders sacrificed their children in Yemen for the money and removed their names from the list drawn up by the United States within terrorism. The question arises, what has Saudi Arabia offered to Sudan since the aggression on Yemen? Was the deportation of more than 50 thousand Sudanese in Saudi Arabia the penalty of their right? What is the position of the Sudanese people about the massacres that they see almost daily against the Sudanese soldiers in Yemen? Will they put an end to Bashir’s policies towards Yemen?
