Lebanese Army, Syrian warplanes eliminate ISIS on Syria-Lebanon border

Video footage has emerged displaying the Lebanese Army targeting ISIS positions, troop movements and gathering areas in the area of Jaroud Ras Balbak close to the Syrian-Lebanese border.

The footage is linked to an ongoing offensive by the Lebanese Army – first waged about one week ago – to clear the entire Jaroud Ras Balbak region from ISIS militants.

Meanwhile, the Syrian Arab Air Force targeted ISIS militants and their assets in the al-Zamrani and al-Hashishat hills of the western Qalamoun region where preparations are ongoing to wage an offensive against ISIS from Syrian side of the border.

Here the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Hezbollah will once again work hand in hand, as they recently did against the Ha’yat Tahrir al-Sham terrorist group, to liquidate the last bastion held by ISIS forces in western Syria.
