Saudi-led Coalition Drown 50 Somali and Ethiopian Migrants off Coast #Yemen

29 migrants are dead and another 22 missing many of them teenagers, off the coast of Yemen after Saudi-led Coalition` Frigate forced them off their boat.

More than 120 Somali and Ethiopian refugees trying to get to Yemen were jumped off the boat after Saudi-led`s Frigate approached to their boat, firing on them, to be forced off their boat into the water off the coast of Yemen.

Earlier, Media means said Smugglers forced more than 120 Somali and Ethiopian migrants into rough seas off Yemen on Wednesday, leaving 29 dead and 22 missing,

The IOM said it had found the shallow graves of 29 migrants on a beach in the southern province of Shabwa after they had been buried by survivors.

Meanwhile, the United Nations has accused a Saudi-led military coalition  of an attack on a Somali migrant boat in March which killed dozens of people, accusing the alliance of covering up blame on individual coalition members.

The attack, which took place on March 16, resulted in the deaths of at least 42 of the 140 Somali refugees on board, and one Yemeni civilian.

An estimated 55,000 people have left the Horn of Africa for Yemen since January 2017, according to the IOM, in the hopes of finding better economic opportunities in Gulf countries. About a third of those migrants are female, and more than half were under the age of 18 when they left their home countries, the IOM says.
