The Saudi-led coalition rejected the request of UN envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh to quickly reopen Sana’a international airport.

The official spokesman for the “Saudi-led coalition” called on the United Nations to run Sana’a airport, rejecting the request made by the latter through its envoy to Yemen, according to media official loyal to the coalition.

The UN envoy to Yemen, Ismail Ould Cheikh , earlier Thursday, called for reopening Sana’a airport through tweeting on his Twitter page, saying: “I repeat the urgent call for the need to reopen Sana’a International Airport as soon as possible.
