The American Statue of Liberty in the Yemeni Capital

Whenever you think of the statue of liberty, you are reminded that it is based in the American capital of the U.S. However, the world might not be aware that there are two additional statues of liberty and they are not present in America.
The other two are located in the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, but they are not there to express the American freedom or show gratitude for the White House.
In fact, it is quite the opposite, Yemenis created a different kind of statue of liberty, one that would never be seen in the United States, one that represents oppression instead of democracy, death instead of life and restriction instead of freedom.
The Yemeni people expressed in their own way their rage toward the U.S. participation against their country. When the Saudi-led war first initiated against the poorest Arab country, it was declared by the Saudi ambassador from Washington D.C. More than ten countries are united against the now dubbed “worst humanitarian catastrophe” on earth.
