Thousands of Yemeni Women Take Part in Sending Support Convoys for Battlefields

Thousands of Yemeni women took part in the massive Ansarullah demonstration that took place to send food convoys, med and money for the Yemeni joint army facing Saudi forces on various battlefields.

After a call from the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, countless women headed to the demonstration square, a number of them holding pictures of their lost loved ones, local source spoke to YemenExtra.

The women chanted with slogans praising the role of the Yemeni joint military in retaliating for Saudi war crimes and confirmed their steadfastness amid a humanitarian catastrophe.

Mothers, sisters and daughters promised that any escalation made by the Saudi-led coalition will only be met with a greater Yemeni escalation, source added.

A statement released by the demonstration read that,”breaking the internal front is what the enemy seeks but the people of Yemen will confront all the challenges with steadfastness and by supplying the battlefronts as the aggression continues to kill civilians since three years in front of the international community, whom is also complicit and is motivating Yemenis to adhere on the path of struggle and resilience until victory is fulfilled.”
