The Yemeni President Sammad Visits the Sole Survivor of a Saudi War Crime: Buthaina

The leader of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council, Saleh al-Samad, visited on Friday the girl Buthaina Mohammed Mansour al-Rimi, the only surviving member of her family consisting of eight members in the Faj Attan massacre.

The war crime was perpetrated by the warplanes of the Saudi-led coalition at Friday’s dawn using US and British ammunition, leading to the death of 17 civilians, most of them women and children, and the injury of dozens of others, local source reported to YemenExtra.

Moreover, the President of the Council checked on the well-being of the girl Buthaina and the medical care she received to deal with the fractures and wounds suffered as well as the subsequent psychological and social care she shall undergo after losing her entire family.

The President of the Council stressed that the crimes against humanity committed by the Saudi-led coalition against the Yemeni people will not go unpunished and that such crimes face the appropriate response from the Yemeni joint army on the battlefields.
