The Popular Crowd Frees the Zarka Area and the International Road between Al-Tuz and Tikrit

A spokesman for Iraqi Popular Forces ,Ali al-Husseini ,announced on Saturday the liberation of the Zarka area and the restoration of  the international road between Al-Tuz and Tikrit in northern Iraq

Husseini added that “these forces managed to control the road between the two Tuz and Tikrit,” noting that “the process has achieved great successes and rapid liberalization of the region and its parties and secure the road link between the Tuz and Tikrit.”

“The forces of the Tigris operations, three brigades of the popular crowd (16, 52 and 18), the Fifth Commando Brigade and the Emergency Police of Tuzhurmatu and Kamrli were able to liberate the area of ​​Rizka, which is considered one of the most important strongholds of an advocacy organization,” al-Husseini stated.
