Syrian Arab Army Liberates More Areas

As a result of the ongoing offensives that were led by the Syrian Arab Army against besieged ISIS militants in rural Hama and Homs, another 7 villages within a wide land area have been liberated from ISIS control during the last twelve hours.
Moreover, the Syrian Army advanced in the countryside of north-central Homs and drove ISIS from the towns of Um al-Sos, al-Kharafesh, Rasm a-Arnab, al-Ghazelah, al-Rak, Um Huwysh and Safiyah, thereby making these villages completely safe.
In terms of land area, the Syrian Arab Army liberated about fifty (50) square kilometers of territory from ISIS during the course of expelling Daesh militias from the aforementioned towns.
All towns are located to the northeast of the strategic Jib al-Jarrah area.
In addition, this latest advance has put the Syrian Army on the outskirts of the Bilaas Oil Field which is the largest oil production site in Homs province, which is in the hands of ISIS.
