Popular Crowd Finds a Horror Graveyard for Foreigners in Tal Afar in Northern Iraq

A force from the Iraqi popular crowd on Thursday found a grave containing the remains of some 40 members of Daesh, near Tal Afar, west of Mosul, the northern province of Nineveh province
During the disinfection and search operations at Tal Afar and its nearby outskirts, our forces found a mass grave belonging to the elements of “Daesh” organization near the al-Askari neighborhood in the city, the Anatolia news agency quoted from Captain Musa Ali Gulaq, an officer in the popular crowd in Tal Afar
The cemetery contains the remains of about 40 members of the organization, including women and foreign elements, according to the evidence over those graves,he added
He pointed out that “Some evidence on which foreign letters similar to the Latin letters and not English were written, which perhaps are for dead from Russia, Chechnya and others
Gulaq stated that “the evidence above these graves indicate that they were killed in the beginning and middle of this year, probably by air strikes, and not during the liberation of Tal Afar
On August 31, Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi ,announced the liberation of the entire province after the liberation of the Ayadiyah district of Tal Afar, the last city controlled by “Daesh”organization since June 10, 2014, after nine months of fighting to expel the organization
