Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi reiterated that the Yemeni people will always stand with Palestine and the resistance of Lebanon and maintain their hostility toward the Zionist entity.
During the speech, he stressed in front of the massive crowds that gathered in the “Airport Street” on the occasion of commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein that the Yemeni people will remain steadfast against American conspiracies. The US has been playing a major role in the war against Yemen, which now homes “the worst humanitarian catastrophe”, according to the UN.
He also called for strengthening the internal fronts, requesting at the same time the Supreme Political Council to activate the institutions of the state and activate their roles in facing the Saudi-led coalition and serve the citizens of Yemen.
Sayyed al-Houthi also called on the political parties that are against the coalition to increase their cooperation, strengthen fraternal ties and to maintain unity.
Moreover, he praised the role of Yemeni tribes in defending the Yemeni land, whom are well known for their bravery and ruggedness, warning at the same time of the efforts taken by the coalition to sabotage the internal social peace.
Sayyed al-Houthi also said that the fronts within the Arab nation are serving the benefits of America and Israel, as is the case with the Saudi regime and the UAE, pointing out that the Saudi and UAE regimes are both an extension of American hegemony.
In the same context, he pointed out that the ISIS ideology is an extension supported by the Saudi regime, adding that the position of “Husseini” people protects them from the danger of America, Israel and their extensions.
Furthermore, Sayyed al-Houthi stressed that Imam Hussein defined the responsible and historical position, and was not merely a regular revolution, but extends over time to benefit the generations until the day of Resurrection.
He also pointed out that this day reminds Muslims of the revolution of Imam Hussein, affirming that Imam Hussein was responsible and principled in the face of tyrants.
In the same context, Sayyed al-Houthi said that the nation has a duty to confront tyrants that are working with no mercy and that Islam forces us to adopt a position of change in the face of the unjust authority. He noted that if the nation accepted itself with humiliation, there would be a much worse scenario by now.
