Units of the Syrian Army Head to the West of Deir Ezzor to Retreat ISIS Troops

Units of the Syrian Arab Army’s departed from the northern countryside of Hama province to western
of Deir Ezzor after suffering several setbacks to the ISIS militias.

According to a military source, units from the Tiger Forces left from Qomhana in northern Hama to the Homs province city of Al-Sukhnah late Thursday afternoon.

The reinforcements that belong to the Tiger Forces will be tasked with regaining the town of Al-Shoulah and its surrounding points that were seized by Daesh during their big offensive on Thursday morning.

For your information, Al-Shoulah is strategically located along the Deir Ezzor-Sukhnah Highway and directly west of the provincial capital;therefore, its liberation is currently a top priority for the army.
