The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has re-controlled the initiative near the strategic city of Quraytayn after a week long battle with the remaining Daesh terrorists holed-up in this desert region.
Backed by close Russian air support, the Syrian Arab Army took the battle to Daesh militants, today, liberating several points in the Al-Mahsaa Mountains that are based north of Quraytayn.
According to a military report, the Syrian Arab Army not only progressed at the Al-Mahsaa Mountains, but they also made significant progress at Jabail Mountain, which is also located north of Quraytayn in the Homs Governorate.
These sleeper cells in Quraytayn helped ISIS seize the ancient city and terrorize the remaining populous living in this vast desert region of Homs.
