Four Recruits Killed in a Suicide Attack in Saudi-Held Abyan

At least four recruits were killed and another wounded, including a security official on Friday after a suicide car bomb targeted a security convoy in the southern province of Abyan.
A suicide car bomber attacked a security convoy as it passed through the Ramleh area between the cities of Zanzbar and coastal Shakra, Abyan province, local source reported to YemenExtra.
The source added that the attack killed four soldiers and wounded others, including the so-called commander of special forces in the district of Jaar in Abyan province, named Abdul Rahman al-Shanini.
According to the source, a number of security leaders were in the convoy, including al-Shanini, who was seriously injured and transferred to a hospital in the city of Aden. He entering the operating rooms.
The attack is the second of its kind in the last 24 hours in Abyan, whereas seven soldiers were wounded Thursday when a car bomb detonated while passing a security patrol in the area of “Aruma” east of Modiah District in the province.
