Saudi-Led Coalition in Danger : Yemeni Official

Spokesman of Yemeni forces, Brigadier General Sharaf Luqman ,confirmed that the Yemeni joint forces maintain high level of readiness to face the Saudi-led coalition.

In remarks on Friday, the spokesman pointed out that the current stage of defending the homeland and facing the Saudi-led coalition  is the most significant one.

The strategic defense operation aims to foil Saudi-led attempts to launch land attacks all over Yemen,said  Luqman.

In this context, the Yemeni general exposed that the defense operation will also include swift attacks by the Yemeni joint forces in the Saudi depth and on Saudi posts on the border region with Yemen, in a bid to trample the Saud-led coalition .

For his part, Luqman said that the Yemeni joint forces have recently depended on air defense system in order to face the Saudi-led jets conducting airstrikes and killing Yemeni civilians.

The spokesman stressed that the Yemeni joint forces will promptly confront the Saudi-led coalition in a bid to defend their homeland against the Saudi invaders.

Yemen has been since March 2015 under a fatal war by Saudi-led coalition, in a bid to restore power to fugitive former president Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi.

Up to 13000 people, mostly civilains,  have been injured and killed in Saudi-led strikes.

However, the Yemeni joint forces have been firmly confronting the coalition with all means.

The Saudi-led coalition – which also includes UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Sudan and Kuwait – has been also imposing a blockade on the impoverished country’s ports and airports as a part of the war
