The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is steadily progressing inside Daesh’s capital city, Al-Mayadeen, liberating several sites that were previously occupied by the terrorist group.
Led by the Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army was able to score another big advance, today, after their units from the Taha Group liberated the strategic Al-Mayadeen Airport after a violent battle with ISIS in the southern outskirts of the city.
As result of this advance, the Syrian Arab Army has cutoff Daesh’s supply line from the strategic city of Albukamal, which is based southeast of Al-Mayadeen.
A military source reported that it is expected that the entire city will be liberated by the Syrian Arab Army soon, as Al-Mayadeen is surrounded from two different flanks.
