Israeli Forces Targets Gaza

An Israeli tank has targeted a post of Hamas resistance movement in Gaza, Israeli forces said, claiming the offensive was after Palestinians tried to launch a misile into occupied territories.

The Israeli army said in a statement on Monday that the missile fell inside the Gaza Strip late Sunday.

“As the rocket fire endangered Israeli citizens and violated Israeli sovereignty, a tank targeted and destroyed a Hamas observation point in the southern Gaza Strip,” the English-language statement read.

The Israeli entity has launched three wars on the besieged strip since 2008.

An unuseful ceasefire has been observed over the largely closed border since the most recent war in 2014.
