The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) had a great day in the Deir Ezzor Governorate on Saturday, freeing a number of areas that were once occupied by Daesh.
Among the several sites controlled by the Syrian Arab Army on Saturday was the strategic city of Al-Mayadeen, which was considered as Daesh’s de facto capital since losing almost all of the Al-Raqqa Governorate.
The Syrian Army would not stop after liberating Al-Mayadeen, as their forces continued their progress north of the provincial capital.
With all of these gains over the last 48 hours, the Syrian Arab Army is getting ready to clear the provincial capital and put an end to Daesh’s presence inside Deir Ezzor.
