The Syrian Arab Army keeps on advancing in the eastern shore of the Euphrates River, making ISIS militants to withdraw from an important town near Kurdish lines.
A few hours ago, the Syrian Arab Army liberated the strategic town of al-Husayniyah after massive clashes with ISIS militants. This city is located to the northeast of Deir Ezzor city.
This advance led the Syrian Army forces to foster the siege that is imposed on Daesh inside Deir Ezzor and blocked any further attempts by Kurdish-led militias to expand southwest of the Deir Ezzor industrial zone.
The Syrian Army has been achieving multiple advances against ISIS and gaining control over several cities and regions.
