Syrian Army Captures Communication Equipment

Syrian Arab Army have foiled an attempt by southern Syrian rebel groups to import high communication equipment to Daraa province.

According to reports, Syrian military intelligence units caught an illegal transfer of equipment today that was going to rebel militias in Daraa province.

The package was put into a truck which was headed to Daraa via As-Suwaydah province.

The truck was stopped to be searched and to uncover its contents, the Syrian military intelligence units found various types of communication gear and spy devices during the search.

Whether Syrian government forces were aware of the transfer in advance or intercepted it by chance is not entirely clear.
