Fishermen in Hodeidah held a protest in front of the United Nations building to denounce the silence of the international community towards the continuous Saudi crimes against Yemeni fishermen.
The demonstration was punctuated by a number of words that confirmed the denunciation of the targeting and kidnapping fishermen are subjected to while they pursue their work for living.
The participants appealed to the United Nations to take immediate action and put an end to the Saudi-led coalition’s violations, and called for the formation of a commission of inquiry to monitor the crimes of the Saudi-led war.
They also demanded procedures to uncover the fate of the kidnapped fishermen, stressing at the same time that the crimes of the Saudi regime and their allies will not dissuade the Yemeni people from steadfastness until victory is fulfilled.
