Two recruits were killed and three wounded Monday morning in a double attack by al-Qaeda militants in the southern province of Abyan.

The agency “Sputnik” quoted a local source in the province as saying: “Five elements of Takfiris stormed the gate of a Professional Institute by an armored car bomb in the district of Modiah, which is taken by the forces of the so-called security as a headquarter.

Moreover, 4 elements left the armored vehicle before the bomber detonated his car as he approached the building, killing two recruits and wounding three others, Sputnik reported.

In addition, clashes erupted between the four attackers and the soldiers of the security belt at the Institute and outside while two of them attempted to escape, killing the four attackers.

This comes in light of the security chaos witnessed by the southern provinces under the control of forces affiliated with the Saudi-led coalition.
