President of the Sudanese Nation Party Sadiq al-Mahdi said that the Sudanese people are all against the Saudi-American aggression on Yemen and that the Bashir regime is selling Sudanese blood in Yemen in exchange for Saudi support.

“We stand against the aggression on Yemen completely,” Mahdi said in a statement. “Sudan’s role, if accepted, must be for reconciliation, not to participate in this war, and this is what we say and we are keen on.”

“Unfortunately, our government has wasted all these things in order to engage in aggression that cannot be legally justified,” he said. “We believe that we have a brotherhood, friendship and a very great history between us Sudanese and the people of Yemen.

Mahdi said that “the Sudanese people’s position not to participate but the system unfortunately goes in the line of support for blood and this is unacceptable and this deal is unacceptable.”

It is noteworthy that the Sudanese regime is still recruiting thousands of soldiers to fight on behalf of Saudi Arabia for the Saudi money despite the heavy losses incurred on the Yemeni territory and the broad opposition of the Sudanese people.
