The Yemeni missile force launched a long-range missile, type Burkan 2H, targeting King Khalid International Airport based in the capital Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The missile hit its target with accuracy and the Saudis did not manage to intercept it, local source confirmed to YemenExtra.

The attack comes after daily war crimes committed by the Saudi regime and its allies against several Yemeni civilians, in which during the period of two days only, a total of 81 civilians were killed or wounded in Saudi American airstrikes.

King Khalid International Airport is the largest airport in the world in terms of area. The airport has an area of 225 square kilometers. It is the center of the Saudi air transport system and is located inside Saudi Arabia with a range of more than 1000 km from the nearest point in the Yemeni border.

In a similar context, the missile force launched a long-range ballistic, Burkan 2H, on July 22 of last year targeting oil refineries in the province of Yanbu, west of Saudi Arabia, which is located more than a thousand kilometers inside the Saudi depth. The missile hit its goal precisely and inflicted the Saudis serious damage in oil facilities in Yanbu.
