Hadi’s Legitimacy Fails to Secure Aden from Daesh

The terrorist organization of Daesh claimed responsibility, on Sunday, for the suicide attack that targeted the building of the Criminal Investigation Department in Aden, southern Yemen, and led to the killing of a number of policemen.
A car driven by a suicide bomber exploded in front of the CID gate in the same time as the motorcade of Aden security chief Brigadier General Shalal Haya arrived without knowing his fate, according to local media.
Violent clashes erupted after the explosion and the militants spread over rooftops in the vicinity of the Criminal Investigation Department, sources added.
The city of Aden has been witnessing multiple suicide bombings and assassinations that are said to be UAE-backed and usually aim for security leaders.
