Yemeni Kidney Patients Appeal to the World After Closure of Dialysis Center

Renal patients in Yemen’s Ibb governorate held a protest today after the closure of the renal dialysis center at Al-Thawra General Hospital due to the depletion of solutions and substances required.

The patients appealed to the competent authorities, international and humanitarian organizations and the world to rapidly provide life-saving dialysis sessions and save the life of hundreds of cases received by the Center from numerous governorates.

Moreover, they called for the support of the Center and its necessary solutions and detergents in sufficient quantities to ensure that it does not stop functioning and continue its services to patients.
