The so-called Islamic State’s (ISIS) official media wing alleged on Tuesday that their terrorist carried out 771 suicide bombings in both Iraq and Syria.
According to Al-Amaq, ISIS carried out 493 suicide attacks against the Iraqi Armed Forces, 136 against the Kurdish forces in Syria, 120 against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their pro-government allies, and finally 22 against the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and other rebel groups.
Of the 771 suicide attacks carried out by ISIS, 294 were conducted in the Nineveh Governorate of Iraq, which is likely due to the large battle for Mosul.
The terrorist group did not release its figures from other countries in the region; however, the overwhelming majority of their attacks took place between Iraq and Syria.
