The fighter jets of the Saudi-led coalition launched on Sunday an air raid on Kohlan Sharaf district of Hajjah governorate, an official told YemenExtra.
The strike targeted a civilian’s farm in Afsar area, local sources confirmed to YemenExtra.
As a consequence of the Saudi imposed air, sea and land blockade, millions of Yemenis are threatened to starve and suffer malnutrition. Despite the worst humanitarian catastrophe in the world present in Yemen, the Saudi-led coalition not only suffocates the country, but also target its internal sources for food and clean water.
“The lives of millions of people, including 8.4 million Yemenis who are a step away from famine, hinge on our ability to continue our operations and to provide health, safe water, food, shelter and nutrition support,” said Jamie McGoldrick, the humanitarian coordinator for Yemen.
