Syrian President slams Turkey’s operation in Afrin

Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad met with the President of Iran’s Council for Foreign Relations Kamal Kharazi in Damascus today.
During the meeting, the Assad and Kharazi discussed a number of topics in the region, including the ongoing Turkish offensive in the Afrin Canton of northwest Aleppo.
The Syrian President slammed Turkey’s invasion of the Afrin, claiming their aggression in this region is similar to their main political policy, which is built on supporting terrorism.
Recently, both Assad and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan have traded several insults.
