Al-Houthi thanks efforts of the United Nations Representative in Yemen

President of the Revolutionary Committee, Mohamed Ali Al-Houthi expressed appreciation from the Yemeni people for the efforts of the United Nations Resident Representative and Humanitarian Coordinator Mr. McGoldrick.
Al-Houthi thanks during his meeting with the secretary-general of the United Nations in Yemen on the occasion of the end of his term , the efforts of the humanitarian coordinator during the period of his work, which coincided with the Yemeni people’s aggression and unjust siege, and the aggravation of the suffering of the living people as a result of the salary cuts after aggression’s forces moved the central bank of Yemen to Aden.
He added that “the international action towards what the Yemenis suffer is still small, whether in stopping the coalition against Yemen or lifting the siege, which is flawed from an international organization is supposed to touch a greater role in accordance with its responsibility towards the peoples of the world.”
The head of the Revolutionary Committee also called for the formation of an independent international investigation team to visit Yemen and investigate the crimes of aggression and massacres committed against the Yemeni people, considering that it is the most important of the humanitarian work of the United Nations.
For his part, the Humanitarian Coordinator explained that, during the period of his work in the past two years the humanitarian side has been affected and the Yemeni people have received the necessary health, education and other necessary services.
In the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee , Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi and Mr. McGoldrick have exchanged shields and souvenirs.
