 400,thousand Yemenis were malnourished, the highest figure in the world,UNICEF said ,on Monday,  that at a meeting in the capital Sanaa.

The representative of the World Health Organization in Yemen, Dr. Navio  Zagaria, said that the delay in humanitarian assistance is due to restrictions imposed on Yemen, which exacerbates the suffering and raise the level of need of citizens, stressing that large amounts of humanitarian assistance to Yemen in Djibouti and for a long time, which is an obstacle To the effectiveness of humanitarian action.

For her part, the representative of UNICEF, Dr. Michele Milano, said that the children of Yemen suffer in a blatant and unprecedented world by the war and siege, noting that there are 400 thousand children suffering from malnutrition in Yemen, the highest figure in the world and said that the response to this disaster In an accelerated, smooth and unhindered manner.
