Report: 9 civilians killed in 44 Saudi airstrikes over Sunday

Nine civilians, including five women, were killed when the Saudi-led coalition conducted 44 air strikes on various Yemeni governorate over the past 24 hours, officials and medics told YemenExtra on Monday. 

In the Red Sea port city of Hudayda, nine members of a family, including five women, were killed in two airstrikes that struck a family’s home in Shargah area in Jurrahi district.

To continue with Hudayda, two air strikes hit two Fisheries stores in Luhaiah district.

In Saada governorate, the warplanes launched four strikes on Taibt-Asm and Farea area based in Kutaf district, two on Aal-Qerad area of Baqem district, and one air strike on Takhiah area based in Majaz district.

It does not end here with Saada, the US-backed fighter jets also waged two raids on Azhur area located in Razeh bordering district and one on Maran mountain.

Meanwhile, the artillery and missile forces of the Saudi-led coalition shelled several areas of Razeh district, Maran and Riqa areas in Haidan district, Ghur area of Ghamer bordering district and also several areas of Munabeh district, damaging civilians’ properties.

In Marib governorate, four air strikes were waged on Serwah district.

In the capital Sana’a, the coalition warplanes launched an air raid on the Dailami base.

In Hajjah governorate, 20 airstrikes targeted Haradh and Medi districts.

In Jizan bordering governorate, the US-backed Saudi-led coalition waged five strikes on Talaa position.
