A human rights and peace organization in the Belgian capital Brussels on Monday held a solidarity stand and an exhibition of pictures displaying the crimes of the Saudi-led coalition against Yemenis.
The participants called for breaking the international silence on what is happening against the Yemeni people, who are oppressed and have been victims of serious violations of human rights and a strangling siege imposed for more than 1000 days.
The all-out blockade worsened the humanitarian and living conditions of the Yemeni people and enhanced the spread of diseases such as cholera and others that need emergency therapeutic assistance.
The stand and the photo gallery were widely received by journalists, employees of the European Union and the public who were briefed on the current situation in Yemen.
Moreover, they expressed their regret over such silence and the efforts of their governments to sell arms without being subjected to human rights laws and regulations.
A number of European and Arab activists interested in human rights and the injustice of the Yemeni people took part in the stand and the photo exhibition.
