The leader of the Yemeni revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din Al-Houthi, said that the gas crisis is being taken advantage of negatively, and that the official authorities bear responsibility because they did not explain the causes of the problem.
The leader of the revolution, in a televised speech on the occasion of “Rajab’s Friday,” said that the Yemeni gas company in the capital Sana’a, was to provide gas, before being targeted by the mercenaries of the Saudi-led coalition, until it has become paralyzed, turning its role into a business for various rapacious traders.
Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi pointed out that some traders, which he described as vampires and diabolical once they are left to do as they please. He also considered them unrepentant and do not pity when observing people suffering without cooking gas; only interested in making the biggest profit possible, excluding some traders who know how to benefit themselves and others reasonably.
Sayyed Houthi also stressed that the mercenaries of the Saudi-led coalition are holding the gas tankers in their areas of control. He pointed out that some of the governorates have been prevented from their official quotas and have been provided with donated quotas from other governorates.
Sayyed Al-Houthi added that the responsibility of the gas crisis today relies on all mercenaries mainly since they paralyzed the role of the gas company firstly, and that the required cooperation must be official and popular, calling for the opening of official bodies to receive complaints and reports of citizens about the monopoly of gas and manipulating traders.
He confirmed that this situation can not continue taking place, stressing that any traders who do not adhere to announced prices for gas will be threatened to lose all their profit.
