A number of international organizations and experts stressed on  the need to break international silence over the collapse of the health system in Yemen.

These organizations confirmed in their reports that the raids of the Saudi-led coalition on Yemen as well as the siege over three years made (fifty five percent) of the health sector out of service and destroyed projects related to the environment such as water and sanitation, which led to the spread of malnutrition and the emergence of epidemics , reaching to cholera and defteria , in turn the support from international organizations to the health sector in Yemen decresed .

More than 21 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance ,and more than 9 million people are reported to be entering the famine, according to World Food Program ratings. In addition, two million children suffer from malnutrition and half a million children suffer from severe malnutrition.

According to UNICEF, a child dies every 10 minutes for preventable causes.
