A citizen was killed on Saturday and two others injured in air raids conducted by the Saudi-led coalition on the perimeter of the al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sana’a, coinciding with the funeral procession of the assassinated president Saleh Ali al-Sammad.
The Square of al-Sabeen , “the largest square in the capital,” witnessed this morning the bidding farewell of the President al-Sammad, who was assassinated by the air force of the Saudi-led coalition in Hodeidah Province last Thursday.
In the same context, activists have been sharing videos and photos on social media of the airstrikes targeting the massive funeral procession, which are said to only make the Saudi regime and their allies look weak and defeated.
Al-Sammad was a top figure in the Ansarullah revolution in Yemen, which is a revolution that aims for defending Yemen against the Saudi-led war, eliminate any kind of foreign intervention in the country’s internal affairs and put an end to corruption.
