The German parliament passed a draft resolution banning exporting arms to Saudi Arabia and UAE to the parliamentary Economy and Energy Committee for crimes committed by the US-Saudi coalition on Yemen.

According to German media reports, Berlin has issued permits to sell a weapon to Saudi Arabia worth one billion euros from 2013 to 2017. The UAE has also become the largest customer of German arms manufacturers.
