Saada rallies in honor of the martyred President al-Samad

The governorate of Saada witnessed today a mass rally under the slogan “In honor of the President of the Martyrs” in the presence of the leadership of the local authority in the governorate, the sheikhs, dignitaries and social figures and a large number of citizens.

During the march, the governor of Saada Mohammed Jaber Awad expressed his deepest condolences to the Leader and the people of Yemen on the martyrdom of President Saleh al-Samad.

He pointed out that Yemen lost one of the most loyal and honest men after the departure of the President, and that his blood strengthened the spirit of steadfastness and pride among the Yemeni people.

The governor Awad also congratulated the President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi Mashat for attaining the authority’s confidence to lead the country and achieve the aspirations of the Yemeni people. He stressed that the project previously launched by the President “A hand protects, the other builds” reflects wise vision possessed by the assassinated President.

A statement issued by the mass rally affirmed that the targeting of the President Saleh al-Samad is a violation of international law .. pointing out that this crime, which directly involved America, will not pass without reckoning.

Moreover, he pointed out that the President was a model of loyalty to his people at one of the most difficult stages that Yemen has been going through and that he was a role model for all the officials for he conducted serious moves to serve the people and state-building through his project.

He also stressed that this stage calls for more efforts to mobilize towards the fronts in order to confront the Saudi-led war and thwart its plans.
