127 Moroccan fighters withdraw from Yemen ,return to their country

The Moroccan government has revealed the return of some 17,000 Moroccans belonging to terrorist groups to their country.
The returnees to Morocco were fighting amid terrorist groups in Libya, Syria, Iraq and Yemen.
“16,134 Moroccans , who were in Libya, 127 from Yemen and 4 from Iraq were sending back” the minister in charge of expatriate Moroccans and emigrants, Abdul Karim Benatik, told the House of Representatives on Monday.

The Minister pointed out that since the beginning of the events in Syria, 651 young Moroccans have returned from there, including four during the current year.

He added that “Morocco deals with its sons with true patriotism.” He did not mention the fate of the returnees.
