Details of the murder of the son of a businessman by elements of the so-called “Southern Resistance” in Aden
Armed elements, believed to belong to the so-called “Southern Resistance”, killed the son of a businessman in the area of Bir Ahmed in the southern province of Aden.
According to local sources, the victim Ali Awad Abdulhaleb had started repairing and constructing a farm owned by his father before armed men threatened and forced the workers to stop working on the grounds ,claiming the land belonges to them.
The sources pointed out that the victim “Ali Abdulhbeib”, arrived at his farm, and tried to convince the gunmen that the farm belonged to his father, but they refused to talk to him and insisted to remove what was built.
The sources added that the victim was not allowed to demolish the building and quarreled with them ,then one of them fired a burst of bullets at him, killing him while the perpetrators fled to an unknown place.
It should be noted that the area of Bir Ahmed is one of the most areas where the incidents of killings and looting against citizens by force of arms and under threat.
Aden city, which was occupied by UK but now under the control of UAE, and the rest of the southern cities witnessed an insecurity situation that increased the assassinations of imams of mosques and security and military leaderships
