MSF announces full suspension of its activities in Taiz

MSF confirmed that it had suspended all its activities in Taiz province, over the security situation.
In a statement, the organization regretted the suspension of all its activities in the governorate, which resulted from the deterioration of the security situation during the recent weeks.

The organization added in its statement, according to sources close to the Saudi-led coalition paid fighters that it will not resume its activity unless it can get assurances about the safety of hospitals from all parties of the conflict.

The suspension of the activities of the organization in Taiz came in response to the storming the revolution hospital in Taiz by armed elements , loyal to the paid fighters and attempting to assassinate one of the patients.
